Really great, had to show this... share it with your beginning drummers!

Joshua Kennedy who teachers drum lessons @ 333 Music Studios in Olympia, Wa shows how to play four different kick drum patterns that every beginner can add to their repertoire.  Music Lessons @ 333 are a fun, excepting, rewarding and something you don't want to miss!

Sorry, if hard to hear, but its its a great song and hopefully it helps those acoustic players out there!  http://www,333musicstudios.com | guitar lessons in Olympia, Wa.  Hold song and video, but its a great one!!! Let me know what you think!!!

Joshua Kennedy from 333 Music Studios shows how to play, use, and count fills inside drum patterns using a metronome and ending musical phrases. http://www.333musicstudios.com/blog for more info! Or click here for a straight link to Josh and his Drum Lessons | Only @ 333 Music Studios.

Hey guys, Dylan here with another video.  We are going over the acoustic stuff for the song "You Are Good" by Bethel Live.  Not a lot of acoustic guitar here, but in the real world of live lead worshiping (non-cd) a lot of us use acoustic.   Here are few tips.

Also, check out our other 2 videos: 1 with Andreaw on the electric guitar and the other with both acoustic and electric.   For more info about us and GUITAR LESSONS in Olympia, Wa check us out @ http://www.333musicstudios.com or see the 333 Blog!

Blessing, Blessing

Blown away by one of my students... He bought me a new guitar! A Taylor GA3e....

Particular awesome because this guitar is great for finger picking and strumming. As the years have passed I have grown to let the band do some of the driving which allows me to spend less time strumming, and strumming to much :) we can focus on dynamics and letting the song and guitar chill... Anyway, pretty cool.

Either way, I feel like the luckiest guy! I have a great guitar that helps my playing and allows me to use a nice one for "gigging" and to use my other Taylor - Dn4 strumming guitar- for teaching guitar and voice lessons. Now I have a performance guitar- where it counts - and a work horse that still rocks....

Totally undeserved, thanks Brent.

Acoustic, Electric and Vocal lines for "You Are Good" by Bethel Live.  Pretty simple here, just the intro, verse, chorus and intro/outro.   We are in the key of A with the acoustic Kapo on 2nd fret and playing in G.  For more info, charts and tutorials check out our guitar lessons and voice lessons in Olympia Wa.  by going to www.333musicstudios.com.  Let me know what you think!

Hey guys, here is a video of Andreaw from 333 Music Studios showing us a few tips on how to play the intro and chorus line from "You Are Good" by Bethel Live. We also have a few resources that may help, the TAB and a chart on the PENTATONIC SCALE.

We noticed right away that you can play this pretty easy if you stay in the home base of the F#minor Pentatonic Scale.  You acutally don't even need to move from this spot....
  • Be sure to use your pinky and keep your first finger on the 14th fret keeping you in PATTERN 1 of the scale (there are 5 patterns, hence "penta"=5).
  • Use a heavy dotted 8th delay - it will "beef" up your sound.
Here is the Tab - an 8th note drive.  On the recording they change it up a little as far as hitting the "ands" but this give you a pretty good accurate look.  Remember with TAB, you really have to get the song into you to really play it-  see the scenery and feeling of the song.  TAB just gives you a road map...  Let us know if you have questions or want to sign up for guitar lessons with one of our teachers  - You Are Good - Elect Gtr Tab-A.

Thanks!

3:33 is here!  Shaina and I are pumped and proud to announce our new studio and business model.  For the last 4 years we have been on our own providing Guitar, Voice and Song Writing Lessons in the greater Olympia Area.  A year ago we went on our own to really see where God was leading us into ministry, and business.

About us

We have always felt the call to full time ministry and who ever thought that it would look like this:)  Right now we are a city wide and local church resource to people striving to become better in their music.  We do private or group music lessons studying song writing, band, or classical music, even doing audio recording to "Create and Capture your Music".    Here is a quick list of what we and our teachers do.  Let us know if you are interested in music lessons.

It is our passion to change the city and help the local church make an impact on our community through music.
Worship Resource

Psalm 33:3 says “Sing a new song to the Lord, and play skillfully with a shout of Joy.” - This is our personal and studio mission. It is 3:33′s passion to see the local church full of thriving, well practiced and capable worship teams playing in and making differences in their church services and events...  for more info please go to our "Worship Resource Page"...

Thanks again for reading!  We will be uploading all kinds of messages about our Cochran journey in ministry and business as we serve our community for the kingdom @ 333 Music Studios.

Here was a quick introduction video of our drum teacher Josh Kennedy.  Great guy, friend and relative... look forward to seeing more videos from him and us @ 333 Music Studios where our drive is to train people to become skilled Musicians and Song Writers.  To find our more about the studio or Josh please go to | www.333musicstudios.com | Drum Lessons |.
